High-Level Schedule

Get immersed in a vibrant setting of knowledge exchange and idea hacking, under the guidance of expert mentors. The day culminates in a pitch presentation where teams showcase their solution and progress to an esteemed panel of judges.

Prep: The event will be preceded by an online session on Thursday, 7th March, 17:00 - 18:30, where participants will have a chance to socialise ideas and form teams. 

Friday Networking (optional): For anyone arriving the day before the Hackathon, you will have a chance to meet up with the other participants and have some fun at GreenTech HQ.

Can I participate without an idea?

Yes, you can. Simply mention on your application that you don’t have an idea.

Can I participate with a team?

Yes! Small teams of up to 4 members are welcome to participate together but must have a tech idea in sustainability.

Can I work on my own?

Yes! It’s fine to work solo on your idea, but if you prefer you can join a team that may need someone with your skills.

Do I have to be able to code to attend?

Not at all. You don’t need to have any specific skills or knowledge to attend!

Will food be provided?

We will offer some lunch and coffee to keep your brain working!

Do I need to pay for this?

No, the 2050 Sustainability Hackathon with GreenTech HQ powered by NDRC has no cost to you. However, spots are limited.

How can I get to GreenTech HQ?

Enniscorthy is highly accessible by car, bus and train. Irish Rail, Bus Éireann, Wexford Bus and TFI Local Link run numerous routes to and from Enniscorthy. We will also try to facilitate carpooling among the participants.

What are the accommodation options in Enniscorthy?
