Lingle
The Comenius team developed the Lingle platform to generate learning content for second language acquisition that aids both second language learners and teachers. Lingle retrieves online articles in a specified language, on a requested subject and at a requested difficulty level from the web.
Providing a linguistic analysis of the article at the word, sentence and discourse level, Lingle is used to automate the generation of learning content. Lingle brings together techniques for linguistic analysis with a practical software approach to automate a process that can be both labour-intensive and expensive.
This project is a partnership between NDRC and DIT.
