DEN

DEN (Digitised Energy Storage) is developing a system to maximise revenues for gas storage owners while simultaneously optimising flow plans to the collective financial benefit of lease holders in a shared store.

DEN is a trading support system, powered by algorithms that compute market-based,efficiency-maximizing flow plans and computed penalties that facilitate a 3-5% improvement in the value of gas storage revenues.

This project is a partnership between NDRC, University College Cork and Keelvar SystemsLtd.
