Innovation Dublin Open Mic Idea Jam, Odessa Club,15th November
NDRC Inventorium’s Open Mic Jam is your chance to share the best ideas you’ve written on fag packets, scrawled on beer mats, and scribbled across your hand.
You’ll have three minutes to stand up and bravely pitch your most inspired, ingenious, imaginative idea to an audience that will everyone from venture capitalists to curious passers-by, who will ask questions and give you instant feedback.
The best ideas will receive support from the Inventorium team and be encouraged to apply for NDRC’s LaunchPad programme, which can provide €20,000 in seed capital.
Our Open Mic Idea Jams, which run on three Tuesday evenings as part of Innovation Dublin 2011, are a chance for you to share ideas, practice pitching, start conversations, and form brave new partnerships.
We’re inviting leading Irish investment funds and organisations, programme leaders from government and independent enterprise organisations including Hothouse, Social Enterprise Ireland, NDRC and Enterprise Ireland to be in the audience. These organisations are as eager for new ideas as you are.
Because ideas can come from anywhere, and you never know where you could meet the people who hold the pieces, or who have the skills you need to make your idea happen.
You might find:
- Your future business partners
- People who will invest in your idea
- A confidant or champion of your idea
- An important critical friend
- Designers, developers, content specialists who want to work with you
- Commercial leaders who have the money and knowledge to back you
And remember, what you pitch is as exciting as how you pitch. It’s your three minutes, so give them your best stuff!
