NDRC’s LaunchPad is Ireland’s first accelerator programme, focused on supporting the next generation of digital entrepreneurs to accelerate good ideas to sound start-ups.
Participating in NDRC’s LaunchPad will give you validation and access to help you with every aspect of your business, as well as a fast track to attracting investment.
Targeted at emerging start-up promoters in the digital space, NDRC’s LaunchPad provides:
- A three month programme alongside other start-ups, innovators, engineers and investors
- Expert mission guidance and hands-on support from experienced entrepreneurs
- Weekly workshops and meetings with the right people in the right networks
- Micro-seed investment of up to €20,000 per project*
- Opportunity to pitch at Lift Off Investor Day at the end of programme

Drop Car
Drop Car is innovative booking software for the car share industry. Car sharing is similar to Dublin Bikes but cars currently always need to be returned to the spot from which they were picked up. Drop Car introduces scheduled one-way bookings making the industry more attractive to the customer and profitable to the car share company.
EDBuddy
EDBuddy is a mobile app and SaaS web application that provides support to adults with Eating Disorders. Designed by a Therapist and underpinned by proven CBT interventions, the mobile app delivers on the spot crisis intervention and daily support, the website provides tools and strategies to help sufferers regain control of their lives.
ExRayLab
Medical training simulator for x-ray guided procedures. The proposed technology aims to train surgeons on minimally invasive techniques & other similarly critical procedures using x-rays to guide instruments.
Instant Opinion
A new communication channel using mobile and cloud technology between service providers and their customers. By gathering real-time, actionable feedback from customers, a service provider can resolve issues as they occur, turn negative experiences into positive ones and convert customers into loyal supporters.
LearnUpon
LearnUpon is a SaaS Learning Management System targeted at content developers, professional training companies, associations and professional bodies. LearnUpon allows training companies to create branded client portal in minutes and sell their courses online. Associations can sell and deliver CPD courses to their members.

This is a travel application and kids forum to explore the world, share travel tips and a personalised space to post their own reviews and photos.an interactive children’s travel service specifically addressing kids.
Ludograph
This project is an educational game for use on the iPad / Android tablets, desktop and interactive whiteboard. The game teaches the skills necessary to draw freehand in 3D and will be pitched at children aged 7+ years.
Mypp.ie
Using open source planning data from local authorities to present this information in a clear and concise format on one map allowing users to see what is being planned in their area, what stage in the planning process the application is at and the impact it may have on them.
Pharmapod
‘Health Intelligence and Pharmacy Informatics’: A web-based platform for the pharmacy profession that helps pharmacists deliver structured clinical services and share knowledge amongst their peers. The site collates data at a national level, developing an evidence base for pharmacy services and the expansion of the role of the pharmacist in the community.
SlateSlate
The creation of a system for the realtime monitoring and data collection of student interactions with educational iPad apps. The goal is to improve the teaching and learning experience, and to provide publishers with relevant statistics, while addressing a perceived flaw within the iPad eco-system which allows students exit an app without the knowledge of their teacher.

SocialMedia.ie’s Social Media Strategy Manager is an easy-to-use web application assisting businesses create and manage multiple customised social media strategies.
Soundwave
A music analytics service allowing users to discover and track what songs are being listened to and where in real time, combining location and ID3 music tagging technology. Record labels can identify what artists are popular in what locations and run location-targeted marketing campaigns and tour promotions. Musicians can track the diffusion of their songs and decide where to promote their music based on information from Soundwave.

A web-based application to block Internet distractions and to monitor and analyse time spent online by students aimed at parents of teenagers and 3rd level students.
True Pivot
Structural analysis software for the engineering domain that simulates stresses and deflections on a design. The software’s ‘real-time’ capability empowers engineers with a unique understanding of the behaviour of buildings under externally applied forces such as wind and earthquakes.
