The LocalSocial project is developing a platform for creating rich social applications on mobile devices. The platform is designed to take advantage of a device's proximity to other people, places or things, as well as their current and historic online social context. 

This project is a partnership between NDRC, Rococo Software Ltd and University College Dublin
