Sentinel

Sentinel provides a much needed component in the SMS anti-spam arsenal.

Sentinel combines industry knowledge with research expertise and well established techniques in spam filtering to provide a more sophisticated approach to detecting SMS spam. Current solutions are poor at detecting SMS spam as they are based on crude key word analysis or identifying messages where the sender is faked.

Innovative learning capabilities are necessary as spammers are constantly changing the spam to evade filters.

This project is a collaboration between NDRC, Dublin Institute of Technology and Adaptive Mobile Ltd.
