Companies based on science and research have their own particular challenges. We have designed a programme to accelerate these types of companies at the earliest stages.
NDRC VentureLab is an investment programme with the objective of getting startups based on novel, defensible science and technology to market and ready for seed investment.
We operate a rolling call, with selection on a case by case basis.
We support your application to NDRC by working with you to build the proposition for our investment. NDRC has a reputation of only working with the best digital ventures and have been ranked as Europe’s no. 1 University Business Accelerator by UBI Global Index 2015.
What do we look for?
NDRC VentureLab is tailored for companies developing novel, defensible intellectual property. We are domain agnostic, but our focus is on ventures with a digital beating heart. We invest in the gap between sound concept and seed-investable venture.
We look for startups that are developing a sci-tech innovation, targeting a large and global market, with a strong IP proposition.
For startups participating in NDRC VentureLab, we provide €100k investment plus a 6 month programme designed to enable your venture to achieve your seed investment goal during or after the programme.
Our emphasis is on intensive mentoring and the high touch approach that defines the NDRC method. Over a 6 month period participants receive investment and work with a designated NDRC Venture Investment Leader as well as the many mentors that we engage to fast track our portfolio companies to attract follow-on investment.
What’s our track record?
To date, we have invested in and worked with science & technology companies that have gone on to secure significant investment and growth, including Adama Innovations, Artomatix, Clearsight Innovations, Digifeye, Exergyn, Logentries, Nuritas, Optrace, PMD Solutions & Silvercloud Health.
By the end of 2014, NDRC portfolio companies had gone on to raise €88m in follow on investment at an estimated market capital valuation of €220m.
