NDRC sources and builds digital startups to invest in and work with, providing them with an integrated offering of knowledge, experience, expertise and a modest amount of capital to get them market ready faster and more successfully than otherwise.

Throughout the first decade of investing at NDRC, more almost 300 startups have joined our portfolio, with more than 1,000 jobs generated and €250m raised in follow-on investment.

SilverCloud Health is a multi-award winning global health tech company providing online therapeutic solutions to improve behavioural health and mental wellness; since launching in 2012 it has gone on to support tens of thousands of patients across it’s global customer base, delivering clinical results that are on par with face-to-face therapy. SilverCloud Health's CEO and co-founder, Ken Cahill, discusses.


Nuritas uses smart bioinformatics technology to identify new beneficial natural peptides allowing companies to bring scientifically proven products to market, faster and more affordably. Nuritas is founded by Dr. Nora Khaldi, a world expert in the area of food informatics.

Izzy Wheels

Izzy Wheels provides a collection of stylish wheel covers for wheelchairs. The products come in a range of prints and colours and fit onto any manual wheelchair. They transform a medical device into a piece of fashion and self expression. The company tagline is: 'If you can’t stand up, stand out!' Ailbhe Keane is the founder and art director of Izzy Wheels.


iCabbi provides agile, flexible world-class cloud based taxi dispatch systems, booking engines and mobile booking applications that integrate seamlessly with each other. Gavin Walsh is founder and CEO of iCabbi. In June 2018, a subsidiary of French car maker Renault invested in iCabbi. This deal allowed early stage investor NDRC to exit.


EquiRatings was founded by Sam Watson, an international Irish event rider and skilled coder, and commercial lawyer Diarmuid Byrne. It works with federations around the world on safety analysis, high performance analysis and provides data to international media outlets. Here, Diarmuid describes their journey.
